How to Display Someone Else’s Blog’s RSS Feed on Your Blog
I follow several blogs. And I’d always wondered how to display a simple RSS feed on a WordPress blog to someone else’s blog. So, having discovered it by accident, I thought I’d share it with you. It really is very simple.
-
Login to your WordPress blog.
-
Navigate to the blog you like. You might want to use this one to test it out: http://blog.guykawasaki.com/.
-
Click on Subscribe to RSS Feed. This redirects you to http://feeds.feedburner.com/guykawasaki/Gypm.
-
Select the URL and click CTRL+C to copy it to your clipboard.
-
Navigate to your Presentation page in the Dashboard area of your blog’s admin.
-
Click Widgets.
-
Drag an RSS widget to the appropriate sidebar.
-
Click CTRL+V to paste the URL into the feed url box.
-
Type a name for the feed.
-
Choose the number of items you would like to display.
-
Close the widget.
-
Click Save Changes >>.
-
View your blog to see the RSS Feed widget displayed in the sidebar of your blog. If you don’t like its position, return to the Presentation page to amend it.

The blog you are reading - of course – should be at the top of your list!
